#15 Library Learning 2.0 and opinions & mine

I can see with"Into a new World" that article is where HCPL is going. The good thing is having worked for a number of yrs. in the system I see how the library saw early this trend and is up to date with this 'new library' look.

However of the 3 articles I read, all seem to forget that 'people' use the library and many still do not need the information and 'entertainment' of the web and related technology.

Living in small communities (both of my house and work place) the library is still books. And the staff must be people friendly, without people the internet is meaniless.

Staying connected to family may mean taking a step back-in time even-and letting yourself play with your kids.

This was my son's first published book. In working with him I learned the ins and outs of self publishing, writing, and rewriting, and rewriting; but the reward of working with him has been 'priceless'. Interested visit amazon.com for a copy of this book
